WWE Extreme Rules 2022 predictions:
Johnny Gargano Vs. Austin Theory. Gargano’s immediate return to WWE set him up with Theory. Theory and Gargano were previously aligned with each other in NXT. Theory escalated the stakes of their new rivalry when Theory attacked Gargano in the back with the Money in the Bank Briefcase. They seem certain to meet.
Raw Women’s Championship- Bianca Belair (c), against Bayley: Bayley’s triumphant return from injury at SummerSlam proved to be a huge boost for the women’s category. She introduced her new team with Dakota Kai (c) and IYO SKY (c), and immediately set her eyes on Belair as well as the Raw women’s title. They have been brawling several times, and they were even involved in a six-woman tag match at Clash at the Castle. Bayley may now be ready for the challenge to win the belt.
Intercontinental Championship, Gunther (c), Sheamus After their immediate classic at Clash at the Castle, this may just be wishful thinking. Additional title matches are required without Roman Reigns. Book a match that is not too convincing to ensure that the intercontinental champion title is on the card.
United States Championship- Bobby Lashley (c), vs. Seth Rollins, vs. Matt Riddle. Rollins has been gaining ground on Riddle every time. Rollins is set to face Lashley to win the title on Raw, Riddle should get back at Rollins to cost him the match. Riddle interference might make it more practical to just have the three men face off in triple threat action instead of taking Lashley to task for Extreme Rules.
